AQUEL WATER-FIXTURES 
 are produced by using Hi-Quality Human-Friendly Materials by following 
the best of Engineering Practices & produced in Clean Environment 





(WA) Company (KLAUS WAREN FIXTURES PVT. LTD. - KWFPL) warrants the Original Customer/ Purchaser or First-End User of Developer/ Institution/ Commercial Bodies of AQUEL WATER-FIXTURES, for the periods as per Product Classification mentioned in Clause ‘WH’. AQUEL WATER-FIXTURES are designated to be used for Domestic use only & not for Industrial use. 

If an AQUEL WATER-FIXTURE is found with Material or Workmanship defect, the same shall be serviced/ repaired/ replaced, free of cost, on proof of purchase, at KWFPL/AQUEL Service Franchisees’ option. During the course of repair or replacement, KWFPL/AQUEL Service Franchisee shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, exemplary & special or punitive damages for any loss of revenue in connection with the sale, maintenance, use, operation or repair of classified products. In no event will KWFPL/AQUEL Service Franchisee be liable for any amount greater than the purchase price of the defective WATER-FIXTURE(s). 


(WB) TO AVAIL WARRANTY :

Customers of AQUEL Products are requested to safely retain the Original Tax-Paid Purchase Invoice/ Letter/ Certificate from the Developer/ Builder, to avail Warranty. 
In case of Customer’s inability to provide the same, service call charges to be borne by the Customer. 


(WC) WARNING AGAINST USAGE OF POOR/ BAD QUALITY OF WATER :

1. a) Water used for Domestic purpose should be of POTABLE QUALITY only, for SAFETY & WELL-BEING of Users. Water passing through WATER-FIXTURES (for Domestic use), should be free from excessive impurities/ hardness, & should be within the norms of drinking water. TDS level should be below 350 mg/l, & Chlorine levels should be below 250 mg/l. 
b) Poor quality of water should not be used for HUMAN consumption/ usage. Such water will seriously effect human body & other organs causing short & long-term hazards. 
c) Desired cleaning process of human body, vegetables, fruits, cooking items, utensils, clothes, etc., can never be achieved with the use of poor quality of water. 
d) Poor quality of water will lead to poor quality of life along with reducing longevity of life by inviting unwarranted sickness, diseases & bad health. 

2. FRIENDLY ADVICE : In today’s time improving the quality of water is not at all difficult or costly. A wide range of affordable water treatment equipment are available. 


(WD) WARNING AGAINST USE OF INFERIOR QUALITY OF WATER-FIXTURES :

1. It is important to ensure WATER-FIXTURES are of good quality & made from human-friendly grade of Brass & other materials. WATER-FIXTURES made with inferior materials will cause serious long-term hazards to Users. 

2. a) Unlike conventional WATER-FIXTURES, AQUEL WATER-FIXTURES are made from well-balanced metallurgical composition of Brass, with Low Lead Content & free from other toxic elements.
AQUEL WATER-FIXTURES have better resistance to corrosion, erosion & wear, making them SAFE & HUMAN-FRIENDLY with an extended service life. 
b) AQUEL WATER-FIXTURES have better resistance to corrosion, erosion & wear, making them SAFE & HUMAN-FRIENDLY with an extended service life. So, if corrosion takes place in AQUEL WATER-FIXTURES, it clearly indicates that water passing through AQUEL WATER-FIXTURES is of bad quality & not at all suitable for human use. 

3. High TDS/ Chlorine/ impurity levels will cause dezincification of Brass, thereby accelerating rate of corrosion, erosion & wear of WATER-FIXTURES. Thus, water drawn from corroded WATER-FIXTURES will cause health hazard to the User. 

4. High TDS/ Chlorine/ impurity levels will clog Internal Assemblies, working of Cartridges or other internal mechanisms of WATER-FIXTURES, thus leading to leakage & hard “on/off” / working operations, also causing high wear & damage of Internal Assemblies.  


(WE) CARE & CLEANING TIPS :

1. To maintain aesthetics & good looks of your bathroom/ washroom, it takes just a few minutes a day to maintain the finish & appeal of WATER-FIXTURES & Accessories. 

2. Aerators & Flow Regulators of WATER-FIXTURES to be cleaned regularly to remove dirt & impurities. 

3. WATER-FIXTURES to be cleaned regularly with a moist cloth (normal/ soap water), & pat it dry. 

4. Do not use scrubbers, scouring pads, abrasive material, phenyls & harsh cleaning chemicals. 


(WF) CAUTION :

Improper/ poor drainage or poor gas exhaust vent will retain harsh odours/ chemical clouds.
Also, use of harsh cleaning chemicals/ harsh phenyls in bathrooms with poor ventilation, will lead to formation of black spots or blackening of plated parts of WATER-FIXTURES or other metallic objects in bathrooms. 

In such prevailing conditions, bathrooms are not fit for human use as this will lead to very serious long-term Respiratory problems/ Asthma/ Allergy. In such unusable conditions, bathrooms need to be attended to prior to re-use. 


(WG)  INSTALLATION/ PLUMBING PRACTICES :
 
1. Building material waste/ dirt/ other foreign objects will restrict operations or cause complete closure of Valves, Cartridges or Internal Assemblies, thereby causing leakage/ dripping. Internal plumbing line should be completely cleaned before installing WATER-FIXTURES.  

2. It is important to ensure unnecessary bends are avoided in the internal plumbing as this would reduce water pressure/ flow. 

3. Installation of plumbing lines & WATER-FIXTURES to be done by experienced competent Plumber. 

4. Threaded Connectors, Nipples, etc., in plumbing lines to be of standard or right quality, as this will eliminate the process of over-tightening/ locking of WATER-FIXTURES. In the long run, this will also help in the process of servicing/ replacing WATER-FIXTURES during renovation. 


(WH) WARRANTY PERIOD :
(Warranty period shall commence from the Date of Purchase).

In case of replacement of Product/ Assemblies/ Parts, Company reserves the right to alter/ change product design/ material in view of improvements without prior notice & without any prejudice as per Product/ Parts in production or as per availability. 


(WI) EXCLUSION/ NON-COVERAGE OF WARRANTY :

1. WATER-FIXTURES are improperly/ wrongly - installed, serviced or repaired, operated, used or maintained. 

2. Any parts are missing after delivery of WATER-FIXTURES, i.e., before packaging, all WATER-FIXTURES are tested thoroughly to ensure all required parts of the WATER-FIXTURES are packed with the Product. 

3. Damage or defect during the course of transportation, mishandling, tampering, misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, disasters; OR improper/ inadequate maintenance by Customers, Installers, Third Party, etc. 

4. Nature of WATER-FIXTURES have been altered/ defaced; OR modifications/ repairs/ improper services are carried out by incompetent persons. 

5. Problems arising from abnormal wear-&-tear of Rubber Seals, Plastic & other Parts/ Assemblies by high water pressure, bad water or problems arising by air-locking due to improper plumbing. 

6. Corrosion, erosion or wear of Parts/ Products, Clogging of Aerators or Internal Assemblies, Jamming of Cartridges, Operating Valves, Diverting Valves due to hard/ bad water or foreign particles, or building materials which obstruct the working of the said Assemblies resulting in leakage may even damage Internal Parts & Assemblies, reducing its service life. 

7. Damage due to falling of building materials, improper care, poor maintenance, foul odour, contaminated air or usage of harsh chemicals & cleaning agents, unfavourable environmental condition in areas where WATER-FIXTURES are installed or exposed to radiation will cause pitting, blackening & damage to Plated Parts. 

8. Connecting Pipes, Hoses, Rubber/ Plastic Parts & Consumables are not covered under Warranty. 

9. WATER-FIXTURES are not covered properly when not in use for a long period, or washrooms are closed for a long period without air circulation, thus spoiling external & internal parts. 

10. WATER-FIXTURES are installed out of Municipal Limits of Towns & Cities, where Authorized Dealers, Service Franchisees or Service Providers are not located. 
11. Full payment of Product(s) has not been made by Customer/ Buyer/ User. 


(WJ) PAID SERVICE CALLS

However, in cases where Warranty is not eligible, Customer Support Services can be availed on per-visit charge basis. 

1. WATER-FIXTURES installed out of Municipal Limits of Towns & Cities, where cost of Technician, along with cost of lodging, boarding, travel, transportation, etc., to be borne by Customer. 

2. For replacement of Parts & Components not falling under Warranty. 

3. Problems arising out of improper installation.
 
4. For cleaning/ servicing/ lubrication of Internal Parts or Assemblies that are clogged by impurities or non-usage of WATER-FIXTURES for long periods (subject to feasibility of carrying out the same). 

5. Cleaning/ service of Aerators, Water Nozzles, Shower Nozzles, Spray Plates or External Plated/Coated Parts.
 
6. Customer-care Services & Assistance required, which are not covered under Warranty. 


(WK) SERVICE LIMITATION/ OBLIGATION

1. AQUEL Service Providers will not be responsible & will not be able to provide service/ carry out repairs in case of inability to approach Main Water Valves or shut down water supply in the said bathroom/ washroom. 

2. Company will provide service/ repairs within reasonable time. However, for reasons beyond control, like unavailability of Service Technicians, spares or special tools required for service/ repair or any other reasons, Company shall not be responsible or be liable for any claim or compensation for the same. 


NOTE : All legal matters will be subject to Kutch (Gujarat)/ Mumbai (Maharashtra) jurisdiction only.
